Sienna Miller had to face her past for her next starring role.
by exploring the secrets and lies in a marriage—but is this time set in London, among the powerful British elite. The series is an adaption of the novel of the same name bybut the story hits close to home for Miller, who went through her own very public scandal when she broke off her engagement to her fiancéto having an affair with his children’s nanny.
Still, Miller says the series shows multiple perspectives on many of the issues at hand. “I think that the kind of debate that it should inspire will be healthy and interesting. And that’s, I think, a brilliant way of telling a story versus going for the low-hanging fruit.”
