Aqua Terra Steak + Sushi, a restaurant in Salt Lake City’s City Creek Center that aimed for “affordable luxury,” closed last week.

Aqua Terra’s parent company, Ascend Hospitality Group, based in Bellevue, Washington, declined to comment for this story, and instead submitted via email the same statement as the Instagram post. Aqua Terra opened its doors on Dec. 1, 2022, just over a year ago, right on Main Street on City Creek’s west side.
