“She said, ‘I don’t want to miss it,’” Al-behadili said on Jan. 11. “So, she flew from Montreal to come to this party.”Hosted by the Canadian Lebanese Association, the Lebanese Levee takes place on Jan. 14 at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel ballroom. The timing of this event offers a nice break from the hectic holidays, Al-behadili said.

“They told me there’s the New Year party, and there’s so many Lebanese people that come to this one. And I said, ‘Oh, that’s a great opportunity.’”
