Gambling on the big game this year is likely to smash the previous high, according to gaming analysts.

Counting legal bets alone, sports gambling data company PlayUSA estimates that online and in-person Super Bowl wagers this year will total $1 billion, more than double the estimated amount of legal bets for Super Bowl LV.
Super Bowl wagers are getting a big boost from New York, which started letting people place bets online in January.
