American CEO Doug Parker and President Robert Isom wrote to colleagues on October 1 saying that US-based staff and some international crew members must get vaccinated. Anyone who remained unvaccinated "will not be able to work at American Airlines," Parker and Isom said in the letter.that federal contractors must be vaccinated by December 8.
JetBlue said it had "communicated this vaccine requirement to our crew members," citing the mandate for federal contractors, the company said in an email to Insider.The White House spoke to major airlines on Thursday to ensure they would enforce the December 8 deadline,
