Amazon claims it lost the lucrative JEDI contract to Microsoft because President Donald Trump is biased against the company.
Photo by MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images: Amazon on Monday escalated its fierce opposition to the Trump administration’s decision to award a lucrative government contract to Microsoft by calling for testimony from the president and Defense Secretary Mark Espser, according to court documents.
Amazon is also asking for court-ordered discovery, meaning the company wants the Trump administration to hand over documents and emails relating to the contract.
