A flyer that reads, ‘We are attempting to deliver a package,” has been circulating around Greater Sudbury in what appears to be a scam, including a symbol that looks similar to the Amazon logo
A flyer whose Amazon logo appears slightly off — blue instead of yellow, and lacking a notch to indicate an arrow at its rightmost side — has been circulating throughout Greater Sudbury.
A Sudbury.com reader alerted us to the flyer, which he described as an “obvious scam,” and received in his Sudbury mailbox. His mother in the Valley also received one. “If you receive a package that you did not order and is not a gift, report it immediately,” Amazon’s website encourages customers. “Third-party sellers are prohibited from sending unsolicited packages to customers.”
