Amazon plans Alexa wireless earbuds with fitness-tracking built in, bigger Echo with better sound
Amazon is working on wireless earbuds that can track things like the distance run, calories burned, and pace of running, CNBC has learned.Amazon is also developing a new, bulkier Echo device that comes with a woofer and better speakers than the original version, CNBC has learned.
The new earbuds, codenamed "Puget," are expected to come with a built-in accelerometer and be able to monitor things like distance run, calories burned and pace of running, a person directly involved in the project said.
