SAN ANTONIO - A delivery driver is in serious condition after being attacked by a pit bull on the Southwest Side early Monday morning.
The attack happened just before 11:30 a.m. in front of the home off McNarney Street near Poteet Jourdanton Freeway. Police said the Amazon driver was delivering a package. When he walked up to the fence, the pit bull jumped over the fence and pounced on him, attacking him in the face.Animal Care Services were on scene and will likely take the dog into custody. At this time, no charges are being filed against the dog's owner.
