Davies, 24, was fined, demerited, and had his license suspended for a month following a Thursday evening stop by police. The Bayern Munich fullback was over the legal limit of 0.5 grams of alcohol per litre, but below the criminal threshold of 0.8 grams.
The incident was confirmed by an unnamed source before Bayern’s match against Borussia Dortmund, where Davies still started.
