Alok remix propels Marshmello & Khalid’s ‘Numb’ onto the Dance/Electronic Charts
‘s dance/electronic charts, boosted on the latest Aug. 27-dated surveys by its remix from Alok, released Aug. 12. The track tallied 16.4 million radio airplay audience impressions , 6.1 million official streams and 2,000 downloads sold in the U.S. , in the Aug. 12-18 tracking week, according to Luminate.chart, “Numb” nabs top Airplay and Streaming Gainer honors as it stays strong at its No. 3 high for a fourth total week.
Elsewhere on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, David Guetta and Benny Benassi earn the chart’s sole debut with “Satisfaction” . The 2022 take on Benassi’s classic gives Guetta a record-extending 68th charted title and Benassi a third turn on the chart. The original “Satisfaction,” credited to Benny Benassi Presents The Biz, reached No. 11 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in November 2003. The enduring Italian DJ/producer has logged four top 10s on that ranking, including the No. 1s “Cinema,” featuring Gary Go , and “Lovelife,” with Jeremih . Benassi’s latest top 10, “Lightwaves,” with Anabel Englund, advances to a new high on the current list .
