Allister Veinot has announced his intention to seek the Liberal nomination for District 2 Georgetown-Pownal.GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. — Allister Veinot has announced his intention to seek the Liberal nomination in Georgetown-Pownal to run in the April provincial election.
Veinot has lived in Avondale since 1984 and has farmed for 38 of those years. He was the fire chief of the Vernon River fire department for the past 10 years.He said he believes he can be an asset to the party and the province. “I’m a hard worker and excited to get to the doors to listen to the concerns of the residents in our area,” said Veinot.
