The nor'easter system will slowly depart Thursday into Friday, but there's another system set to bring unsettled weather this weekend before a bright start to spring on Monday.
We have another system on the way for the weekend. This time the low-pressure system will track through the Great Lakes and then Quebec into Labrador, allowing the warm and trailing cold fronts to cross Atlantic Canada.
This will bring periods of flurries and light snow mixing with rain showers west to east into the Maritime provinces Friday night into Saturday morning, with scattered showers and flurries on Saturday and lingering Sunday. This precipitation will also extend into Newfoundland late Saturday into Sunday, but I’ll be watching for potential freezing rain in parts of that province.
Temperatures will fall back to near and below normal, but I think we’ll take it if it means we get a stretch of sunshine.
