Snow is forecast to develop eastern Newfoundland through Tuesday morning and become heavy at times over the Avalon Peninsula during the afternoon hours.
Parts of the southeast Avalon Peninsula are forecast to receive over 30 cm of snow by Wednesday morning.The snow coupled with strong winds will lead to reduced visibility and poor travel conditions, especially Tuesday afternoon.
