“I think he’s great, a Christian guy who wants to win,” Auburn High offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner said of Hugh Freeze. “He’s going to bring in the best guys for us, and I feel like he’s going to be a great coach.”
He is joined by Montgomery Catholic running back Jeremiah Cobb and Loachapoka defensive back J.C. Hart.
“He called me when he got retained and told me he was staying and everything was good,” Cobb said of Williams. “That really excited me. I’m excited to have a coach who can make me a better back.”He’s been pretty special for Kirk Johnson’s Knights during his high school career. “Jeremiah is going to come in and be one of those dudes,” Joiner said of Cobb’s college potential. “He can be one of those Auburn greats.”
