All Sport One Day event inviting young Calgarians to try new sport yyc

All sessions — held in partnership with Sport Calgary at 12 multi-sport venues across the city — are led by certified instructors from community-based sport organizations focused on ensuring a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all skill levels and backgrounds.“Let’s show community members and families what sports and activities are out there,” Canadian Olympic legend Le May Doan said.

New this year to All Sport One Day is an additional date for kids trying out particular sports — that being Aug. 19. “We did still did modified versions of it,” Le May Doan said. “And we’ve continued to adapt and evolve and grow. Even last year, we were still working with sport partners on some sort of adaptive parts just to make sure everybody felt safe.Registration opens Tuesday at 1 p.m. atAnd all participants will be required to register in advance of their session. No drop-ins will be permitted.
