All American: Homecoming season 3 has been confirmed by The CW as the network faces an uncertain future. A spinoff of All American, the sports drama focuses on college student Simone Hicks and her attempt at becoming a pro tennis player. The show also follows college freshman Damon Sims as he pursues a career in baseball. The show's parent series All American was renewed for season 6 by The CW in January 2023, but the fate of All American: Homecoming had been unclear.

Season 3 will have 13 episodes, the same amount as season 1. The decision comes amid major changes at The CW as the channel begins cutting back on the number of in-house scripted series they produce.
The CW Cancellations and Renewals Explained Alongside announcing All American: Homecoming season 3, The CW renewed Superman & Lois for a 10-episode season 4, while also announcing Gotham Knights season 2 is officially not happening. Aside from All American: Homecoming and Superman & Lois, this leaves The CW with a limited number of original scripted series. While The CW's recent decisions haven't been easy for fans of cancelled series, All American: Homecoming has braved the axing and will return for another season. However, with so many changes to The CW in recent months, it's unclear what the future holds for many of its series. Even so, shows like All American: Homecoming still having a place on The CW means their immediate futures are not in any danger.
