11 Spider Rico The weakest opponent in the franchise is Rocky's first opponent from the original Rocky. Played by real-life Argentinian heavyweight Pedro Lovell, Spider Rico fought Rocky Balboa in a low-grade club match early in Rocky, and was defeated in a technically-unsound brawl amidst jeers from the crowd of the small venue. As Rico would go on to make only one pro fight in his career, he doesn't come close to measuring up to the rest of the fighters.
8 Mason "The Line" Dixon The primary antagonist of Rocky Balboa, the flashy, speedy Mason "The Line" Dixon racked up a 33-0 record with 30 knockouts prior to his encounter with the aging Balboa. Often criticized for the subpar competition he selected for himself, Dixon planned on ending his fight against Rocky quickly, but found himself in a genuine fight that went 10 rounds.
4 Ivan Drago Played by the incomparable Dolph Lundgren, Ivan Drago is one of the most infamous villains of the Rocky franchise. The former Olympian with the 2,000-psi punch, Drago was responsible for the death of the aging Apollo Creed in Rocky IV. Drago's entire fighting style was based on power and relentlessness, relying on a never-ending barrage of heavy shots to overwhelm his opponents.
