on August 30th, and it brings with it plenty of new content to prepare us for the first paid DLC, such as cross-play and a new progression system.For better or for worse, there hasn't been any information regarding additionalwith the release of Season 4: Prestige, much like the previous three Seasons — the Pathogen DLC launching at the end of August could potentially add to the list, though.
Season 3: Prestige, as the name would suggest, brings a new Prestige progression system to the game, which converts all XP earned after level 20 into Prestige Points to go towards your Prestige Rank . Working your way through the Ranks will unlock new cosmetic items and nameplates, including weapon colourways that can be used on the four new guns: M51 Breaching Scattergun, P.649 HEL, SVAT-92 Sokol, DKT-59 Misha.
Additionally, a new game mode is on the way called Restock Turrets, which tasks you with, you guessed it... restocking turrets — while being swarmed by flesh-hungry, acid-bleeding, toothy Xenomorphs. Finally, the new Season will bring a 'Challenge Card Reprocessor,' which will enable you to trade three of your Challenge Cards for one new card that's guaranteed to be different from the ones you traded. Challenge Cards will also be usable in all game modes.
