.AlexWassabi, VanessaMerrell & schmoyoho team up for witty NightShirt song
YouTube stars Alex Wassabi and Vanessa Merrell recently teamed up for "Night Shirt," a fun new song and video about the disrespect you feel when your partner steals your favorite shirt to sleep in.
Their first video together, uploaded on Wednesday , starts out with Merrell explaining how tired she is before leaving to take a nap, in Wassabi's shirt of course. Wassabi does not like this one bit and breaks into song: "She took my favorite shirt as her night shirt/ It's a conundrum 'cause I like her/ And it'd be weird if I denied her/ But I can't just let her claim my most-liked shirt.
As he sings, Wassabi hovers over Merrell as she naps, creeps on her while she brushes her hair, and rocks out in the kitchen with a makeshift shampoo bottle microphone. Fellow YouTuber Michael Gregory of Schmoyoho also makes an appearance to rap a verse , "So many memories I've been havin'/ Wore it the year I was Radford drum captain," he reminisces.
There's a plot twist at the end, when Merrell finally admits that she's been using Wassabi's shirt to spite him for using all of her "once-a-week, bougie, fancy" shampoo.
