ALEA: Power lines between Ridge Marina, Martin Dam restored, waterway open.
ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. - Power lines have been restored after severe storms caused power lines to go down on Lake Martin.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, overhead power lines had fallen and were hanging just above the water’s surface on Lake Martin between Ridge Marina and Martin Dam following Sunday’s severe weather. The area near the downed lines was closed to boaters while Alabama Power worked to restore service. The lines have since been restored and the waterway in the area is open.
