Aldi has released red velvet cream liqueur just in time for Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day may be synonymous with red roses, fancy restaurants and cringeworthy cards, but for anyone looking to do things a little bit differently this year, Aldi is the place to go.
The Red Velvet Cupcake Cream Liqueur, which is a new flavour of their Ballycastle Cream Liqueur, is strikingly similar to Bailey’s Red Velvet Cupcake cream liqueur - in taste, that is. If that wasn’t enough, the supermarket chain has even come up with a suggestion of how to enjoy the velvety tipple.Called the ‘I Choco-love You cocktail’, the drink needs 70ml of the Ballycastle red velvet cream liqueur, 30ml of black spiced rum, 400ml water, 60g sugar and 60g of cocoa powder.
