A woman who was abducted from her Goodfish Lake home Tuesday has been found safe but police are still on the lookout for the suspect, who they say is armed and dangerous.

St. Paul RCMP responded at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday to a report of threats with a firearm at a home in Goodfish Lake, about 183 km northeast of Edmonton. RCMP said 26-year-old Theresa Kathleen Coutre had been taken from her home against her will.A 33-year-old Goodfish Lake resident was identified as a suspect. The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit was called in to take over the investigation.
In a late Wednesday evening update, police said Coutre had been found and is safe, but a man remains at large.RCMP warn that he is considered armed and dangerous. He should not be approached.
