The 2023 Alberta Climate Summit, which begins in Calgary on Thursday, will examine several key questions that have plagued provincial and federal relationships.
Key among them will be looking at how, and perhaps more importantly, how soon Alberta can achieve a net-zero electricity grid.
There will also be questions about how Alberta’s workforce can transition itself for a new energy future and how our province can achieve a clean and affordable electricity grid At Thursday’s event Alberta Premier Danielle Smith will sit down with moderator Dave Kelly for a"fireside chat.
That’s where there could be fireworks as right after Smith speaks, Kelly will sit down with federal energy minister Jonathan Wilkinson., in which it says"deploying clean and non-emitting electricity would make energy consumption even more affordable for Canadians over the longer-term.
