A listing on a real estate website says the 'unique, one-of-a-kind restaurant' is up for grabs in the downtown area of High River, about 65 kilometres south of Calgary.
Alberta premier Danielle Smith did a dishwashing shift at the restaurant she owns in High River, Alta., this weekend. Smith has put the railcar restaurant up for sale.
Press secretary Sam Blackett says it was a personal goal of Smith's husband to rescue and restore the rail car in memory of his father, who was a dining car waiter. "He feels those goals have been achieved and after six years, he has decided to move onto new endeavours," Blackett said in an email Wednesday.
