“I think we’re definitely going in the right direction with affordability. I think we’re making some serious measures to help Albertans right now,” said Schow.. It includes an extended gas tax holiday, electricity rebates, and $600 worth of targeted relief payments to children and seniors. Affordability Minister Matt Jones has said he expects the majority of the supports to roll out in January.
