Alberta’s overall happiness score stands at 4.73, placing it in the top five provinces, but far from the number-one ranking Quebec, which claimed the top spot with a score of 8.63.“People value family, friends, and they also care about money as the cost of living increases in this city,” said Taylor Barrie, vice-president of communications for the Calgary Foundation. “Making a good income is more important than ever so it’s a priority.
