At a news conference Monday, the province said it will invest $68 million into projects, including specialized housing and mixed-use developments offering supportive services with accommodation, as part of its Affordable Housing Partnership program.The provincial funding will support the construction of new houses, renovation of existing buildings and “innovative housing solutions,” said Seniors, Community and Social Services Minister Jason Nixon.
“The rising cost of living that we are seeing across the country is increasing demand for these affordable housing options,” he added.Article content
