Williams caught a long throw from quarterback Jared Goff for a 45-yard touchdown reception as Detroit took a 17-6 lead with 3:19 left in the third quarter.Williams was among the 50 former Alabama players who got on the field on the sixth Sunday of the NFL’s 104th season.· Lions defensive back Brian Branch was designated as a game-day inactive. An ankle injury kept Branch off the field for a second straight game.
· Brian Robinson Jr. started at running back for the Commanders. Robinson ran for 31 yards on 10 carries and caught two passes for 25 yards and one touchdown. Robinson turned a screen pass into a 24-yard touchdown as Washington took a 24-10 lead with 12:03 left in the third quarter. · Will Anderson Jr. started at defensive end for the Texans. Anderson made four tackles and registered two quarterback hits.
