. The Crimson Tide was without two major contributors against Mississippi State with inside linebacker and defensive signal-caller Deontae Lawson, plus offensive guard Terrence Ferguson both out.
“Both guys are able to practice,” Saban said. “We probably won’t know how effective they’ll be for the game until later in the week.” Saban was also asked about wide receiver Jermaine Burton, who only played nine snaps against the Bulldogs despite being one of the Tide’s leading receivers this season.
