“I really just went over things that are quite black and white,” she said. “It’s just a record of history, and so I find it mind-boggling that anyone would interpret facts as a political agenda.” Stadthagen’s and Kiehl’s remarks, Sullivan said, sound “like rhetoric they’re making up to politicize their own agenda.
“As Americans, we have rights to assemble, we have rights to free speech,” she said. “And to come attack this [event] …is a violation of free speech and people’s ability to gather and learn about things.”
