The Crimson Tide completes its fall ball season on Saturday against the Seminoles.
There's no football on Saturday but the Crimson Tide is still hosting an on-campus event as the baseball program hosts the Florida State Seminoles at noon.Admission is free for those attending the showcase in Sewell-Thomas Stadium. It will be the second live action for the Tide after hiring Rob Vaughn to take over the program in the offseason.Florida State was eliminated last year in the ACC Tournament and did not make the NCAA Tournament after going 23-31 on the season.
The Crimson Tide won its last fall ball outing against Auburn 5-2 and 10-0 two weeks ago in Vaughn's debut. It should be a beautiful evening for baseball in Tuscaloosa as the weather forecast calls for temperatures in the high 70s with only a 1% chance of rain and wind coming in southeast at just 2-4 miles per hour.
