CryptoNews: On Wednesday, crypto tokens related to artificial intelligence (AI) rose more than 3% after Elon Musk unveiled a new AI company called xAI.
The Newly Formed Company Will Be a Separate Entity from Musk's X Corp
Musk launched this company with the goal to “understand the true nature of the universe” and compete with popular AI tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Team members are from OpenAI, DeepMind, Twitter, Tesla, Google Research and Microsoft Research. On Friday, Musk and the rest of the team will provide more details at a live Twitter Spaces chat. Musk previously shared plans to launch a “TruthGPT” without political emphasis.
The newly formed company will be a separate entity from Musk's X Corp, following his acquisition of Twitter, but xAI said it will work closely with his other companies.
