The clip was posted to the official Star Wars Twitter account, showcasing around 40 seconds worth of Ahsoka goodness. The sequence opens with the live-action Hera Syndulla and her trusty droid Chopper flying the shuttle known as the Phantom from Star Wars Rebels, under fire from an unknown ship. The clip then switches to the titular Ahsoka, detailing more of what fans can expect regarding the show's action ahead of Ahsoka's release date.
Ahsoka's Action Scenes Show Stunning Lightsaber Fight Choreography It is in the second section of the clip centering on Ahsoka that fans of lightsaber choreography from the various Star Wars movies and TV shows will be most pleased. The clip focuses on Ahsoka battling it out with the mysterious Inquisitor Marrok and a droid assistant, showcasing fluid lightsaber choreography in the process. The scene is more akin to the lightsaber battles seen during the prequel trilogy.
The scene includes several long takes, meaning quick-cut editing does not rob the fight scene of any tension. Ahsoka then dispatches the droid before holding up its deaminated shell with her lightsaber to disorientate Marrok. The scene culminates with the two lightsaber-wielders fighting around the droid's remains before Ahsoka rolls out of the way of Marrok's weapon.
