BREAKING: Ahmaud Arbery: Jury finds defendants guilty in federal hate crimes trial
Three men stand trial in Glynn County charged with crime in connection to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.A federal grand jury has found the three men convicted of killing Ahmaud Arbery guilty on all counts of interfering with the victim's civil rights Tuesday in connection to the deadly shooting of the jogger in Georgia.
"All three defendants told you loud and clear, in their own words, how they feel about African Americans," prosecutor Tara Lyons told the jury Monday.Closing arguments in the case began Monday as prosecutors worked to prove race was a factor in Ahmaud Arbery's death. The trial comes days before the two-year anniversary of Arbery's death in Brunswick, Georgia.
