Are women's groups addressing the problems of older women?

Martin says the proposed BE HEARD law would be the first comprehensive federal proposal to address workplace harassment in the #MeToo era. Martin said the act would, among other things, eliminate limitations on damages for women aged 40 and above who sue for age-based harassment under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act .In 2018, Lynda Gratton, coauthor of, said ageism is “far worse” for women than sexism.
For the one occupation where the researchers studied both men and women – sales – there was “considerably stronger evidence of discrimination against older women than older men.”
