Now they are hating on Mom?
It is people like you that make the world a less pleasant place. How about a little respect for that and for the fact that the vast majority of people get the concept and don’t have a problem with the message?Who came up with the original message?
“Grade 6 students at Kew Beach came up with the first quote collectively as they prepare for Mother’s Day this weekend, to share how much they care for and depend on their moms.” I would not be writing about this because some socially active trouble maker took it upon herself to diss on motherhood, but because the weak spines at the TDSB changed the sign as a result.
The TDSB says, “Upon feedback, the school recognized that this quote does not reflect the inclusivity of our community, and took immediate steps to address the issue.”Article contentAs a person online wrote, “I don’t have a Ferrari, but I don’t get upset when I see ads for Ferraris.” Crews and Tangos on Church Street is a gay and lesbian drag bar. That doesn’t include me. So what? I hope they have a good time.I suggest you call the TDSB to tell them what you think.
