After high of big win over 76ers, Rockets look to stay consistent vs. Spurs
Jalen Green and the Rockets took down Joel Embiid and the 76ers in a double-overtime thriller Monday. Now they look to build on that win on the road Thursday in San Antonio,a home, double-overtime win against the Philadelphia 76ers and James Harden
Yet, as much as that reality of an 82-game regular season is understood, on some levels, it is one of those lessons young teams struggle to embrace. In the NBA, it is not about what players or teams can do; success is measured by what they do consistently. The Rockets had shown that they were making strides before the record improved. After a 1-9 start to the season, they have gone 6-8 and are 4-3 in their past seven games.
“We’ve kind of been up and down this season. We haven't necessarily had the dealing with success issue, learning process. So, that's the next step, which is a good step to have.”
