ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Entrepreneurship veteran Michelle Simms has been named to head a new economic development group looking to grow the communities of Conception Bay South, Paradise, and St. John’s.
Recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 50 CEOs by Atlantic Business Magazine, Simms has more than 20 years of executive experience and has excelled at growing, strengthening and diversifying the technology sector of the province. Simms has also been a member of Genesis, Memorial University’s innovation hub since 2002, and has served as president and CEO of the organization since 2016.
