Dozens of Adidas employees across the U.S., Germany, Panama, and Australia have written a letter to the company’s leadership, asking them to investigate whether the HR chief has the “right approach and behavior” in tackling racial inequality
It read: “Our employees have courageously raised their voices to people in positions of power; they have called out the fact that we are not representative of the communities we profit from and we lack the leadership, processes, and goals that will enable us to get there.”
The letter asks the sportswear firm’s supervisory board to investigate whether Parkin, who is the company’s head of global human resources, has the right approach in tackling lack of representation within the firm.
