Former Rep AdamKinzinger sells signed copies of Jan. 6 report for $100
"This hard-bound copy of the historical record is offered as a limited edition and signed by Congressman Adam Kinzinger, who served on the committee. All proceeds will benefit charitable organizations working to uphold and defend democracy in America," a description of the book says on the website for Kinzinger's Country First PAC.Kinzinger was an outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump and one of two Republicans alongside former Rep. Liz Cheney who sat on the Jan.
"On January 6, 2021, the United States came perilously close to losing its democracy. A mob instigated by the president of the United States violently attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., seeking to disrupt the certification of the electors in the presidential election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history," a description for the limited edition book reads.
Kinzinger's PAC is also selling a slew of merchandise such as sweaters, hats, cups, crop tops, and more to promote"country first." He deployed the term frequently when he began bucking the Republican Party for its adulation of Trump.
