Comedian Adam Carolla shares a story from his past where he was told he couldn't apply to be a firefighter in Los Angeles because he was a white male. This story resurfaces amid the city's struggle with wildfires and complaints about a lack of firefighters.
Adam Carolla on DEI: Out of High School Told Couldn’t Apply To Be Firefighter Because He’s White Male
This story is being recirculated now because the DEI obsessed city of Los Angeles is complaining that they don’t have enough firefighters to combat the rampant wildfires consuming the city. One such tragically hilarious example came 8 years ago in Congressional testimony from comedian and podcast host Adam Carolla. Carolla explained that he applied to be a firefighter for Los Angeles earlier in his life and was told he had to wait 7 years to return to take the examination because he wasn’t a member of a racial or gender minority.
