Zaritsky captured many of life’s tough moments in films like Do You Really Want to Know? which follows families considering genetic testing for Huntington’s; Leave Them Laughing about a performer with ALS; Men Don’t Cry: Prostate Cancer Stories, which he shot not long before he himself was diagnosed with the disease and Broken Promises; Extraordinary People; No Limits: The Thalidomide Saga, a trilogy that looks at and exposes the worst drug disaster in history.
