The one undeniably perfect element of the family comedy “About My Father” is the casting of the lead role:is the ideal choice to play the central character, Sebastian Maniscalco. I feel sorry for anyone else who auditioned for the part. Mr.
Maniscalco is a stand-up comic who co-wrote the film and plays a Chicago hotel manager who talks a lot like a stand-up comic. At one point he does an elaborate imitation of a bird, complete with a silly walk, as though forgetting that the onscreen Sebastian is merely talking to his dad in a bedroom rather than performing for an audience demanding shtick.Continue reading your article with
