Tisha Rowe said an American Airlines flight attendant would not let her back on the plane unless she covered up with a blanket.
Rowe also believes that there was racial discrimination at play, adding that she was the only passenger to be stopped despite there being others on the flight who were wearing similar clothing.
Shannon Gilson, a spokesperson for American Airlines, said in a statement that the company has tried to reach Rowe to"personally apologize" to her and her son for their experience.
