Venjakob was one of the first companies in the furniture industry to voluntarily offset its emissions fully in accordance with the ‘Clean Development Mechanism’. Wood used is from hand-picked suppliers, their furniture is naturally finished and they contribute to the replanting of local deciduous forests.This bed manufacturer puts sustainability at the centre of everything they do, from the use of renewable natural resources to carbon offsetting progammes.
They are the first carbon neutral bedmaker in the world, and have held this prestigious title for a decade, as well being holders of the Queens Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development. All their beds and mattresses are completely recyclable, and they work hand in glove with the Red Tractor organization, Better Cotton Initiative and Cotton Connect.
