A magical place of joy !

The specially made rubberized field allows physically challenged kids and those with special needs to play baseball.The well over $1 million field features a covered picnic shelter, covered dugouts, bleachers, an announcer’s booth, a largeConstruction of the Field of Ability was handled by local firm TaskForce Engineering.A crowd of over 200 watched the official ceremony as Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk congratulated the project organizers, especially Lisa Newman-Chesher.

He paid special tribute to then councillor Jack Miller for being a strong advocate and spokesman for the Field. Miller could not attend the grand opening as he was Master of Ceremonies for the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
