His latest project involves etching an important message on hockey pucks for the upcoming junior hockey season. Game pucks atis Sept. 30, and while the Cougars were one of the first junior hockey teams to read a territorial land acknowledgement before each game, Adams recognized they can do more. “Wrong place at the wrong time,” he recalls. “I got picked off by a car on the sidewalk going the opposite direction.”“Compound fracture of my left femur and he put me through the windshield of his car.” The impact left him with inoperable rotator cuff damage to his right shoulder. “I can’t lift anything out of the back of my truck,” he says.
