With her first trip to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts since 2018 on the line at the Re/Max Centre, skip Stacie Curtis and her rink bested the Heather Strong rink 11-8 to clinch the provincial Scotties championship. The teams split their two games in the double-round robin format with the difference in each being just two points each time. Curtis won the first meeting 9-7, while Strong bounced back in the second meeting to win 8-6.

It will be a quick turnaround now for the winners. The 42nd Scotties Tournament of Hearts is scheduled to take place Feb. 17-26 at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.
