It’s for ages five-12 who will read a book or two, learn about the library and play a fun coding game.Glace Bay Library is hosting a senior's paint session from 10:30 a.m. until noon. The theme is ‘Winter Wonderland.’The Cape Breton Partnership is hosting an educational half-day of learning at workplace inclusion workshop for employers beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Part one of the workshop will include guests from the Cape Breton Partnership and YREACH Cape Breton who will provide employers with an overview of supports and services that they can implement to support new staff. Part two includes an interactive group activity led by Paul Pickering from the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia. Pre-registration was required.The show is written and performed by the Glace Bay High Drama Group and follows the relocation of Santa and Mrs.
Fiddle tunes, laughs and holiday songs are the promise from artists Mac Morin, Kimberley Fraser, Wendy MacIsaac, Howie MacDonald, Aaron Lewis and others. Tickets are $30 per person.Also Friday, CBU students union will host an open casting call for an International Women’s Day production that will take place in March. They’re looking for writers, actors, performers and anyone who can contribute.
